Just 2 km from the large sandy beach, you can enjoy a peaceful setting while staying close to the ocean. In summer, free shuttles take you directly to the coast.

Heated swimming pool and paddling pool
Want to cool off without leaving the campsite? The heated outdoor swimming pool at Hendaye awaits you in a sunny, friendly setting. With dimensions of 12 m x 8 m and a maximum depth of 1.30 m, it’s just as suitable for swimmers as for occasional bathers.
Open throughout the campsite’s opening season and heated from May 15 to September 15, the swimming pool guarantees excellent water for swimming and rejuvenation throughout the summer months. Parasols, deckchairs and a solarium area are at your disposal to prolong your pleasure at the water’s edge.
Younger children are not to be outdone: a 16 m², 40 cm-deep paddling pool lets them discover the joys of water in complete safety, under the watchful eye of their parents. Relaxation and family fun are guaranteed!

Services and entertainment at the Hendaye campsite
At Camping Dorrondeguy***, every day is an opportunity to share convivial moments. In July and August, Rose welcomes children aged 6 to 12 to the kids’ club , Monday to Friday from 10am to 12pm. Handicrafts, games and sports punctuate the mornings, depending on the weather.
Theplayground will delight the youngest with its inflatable structure, trampoline, swings and slide. For sports, there’s a brand-new city stadium, volleyball court, ping-pong tables and a large petanque area. Equipment is available on loan from reception.
In the evening, the atmosphere continues with aperitif-concerts, bingo, blind tests with DJ Casi or themed meals: moules-frites, brazero… The pizzeria and bar in Hendaye welcome you every day in summer for relaxed gourmet moments.

Hendaye is ideally situated for exploring the Basque country in all its diversity. As the starting point for the GR10, the Vélodyssée and the sentier du littoral, the town attracts hikers and cyclists of all levels.
On the seafront, the 3.5 km long, safe beach is ideal for surfing, paddle boarding or simply lazing around. Scuba diving enthusiasts will appreciate the proximity of the Txingudi Plongée center, which attracts many enthusiasts all year round.
In a radius of less than an hour, discover the pearls of the coast: Saint-Jean-de-Luz, Biarritz, Bayonne… or cross the border to stroll through the narrow streets of Fontarrabie and San Sebastián. The hinterland is not to be outdone, with its picturesque villages: Espelette and its peppers, Sare, Ainhoa, Saint-Jean-Pied-de-Port…
With its heritage (Abbadia castle), traditional festivals (Chipiron festival, Basque festival) and generous gastronomy, the Basque Country promises a vacation full of discoveries.

Accommodation is available from 3 pm. However, you are welcome to arrive at any time during the day and make use of the campsite’s facilities.
The pool area, which includes a heated swimming pool and a paddling pool, is open daily from 10am to 8pm.
The beach is 2.5 km from the campsite. During July and August, a free shuttle bus will take you there on presentation of your campsite wristband. The shuttle runs daily from 11am to 7pm.
Reception is open every day from 9am to 12pm and from 2pm to 6pm. Outside these hours, you can visit the campsite’s bar-restaurant.
Bed linen and towels are available to hire.
The bed linen set for 4 people costs €35. The bed linen set for 6 people costs €49.
Towels cost €12 each. We also have sets that include duvet covers.
The Mini Club is open free of charge from Monday to Friday, 10am to 12pm, for children aged 6 to 12.
Yes. Free Wi-Fi is available in the Wi-Fi zone located near reception, the bar and restaurant, and the swimming pool.
