Irun offers a number of leisure and cultural appointments. There are important remains of its past, such as the church of Santa Maria del Juncal dating from the 16th century. The Baroque Town Hall is also one of the monumental buildings, and the Oiasso Museum bears witness to the city’s Roman past. Paseo Colon, one of the main avenues, is dotted with many attractive shops and “pastelerias”, pastry shops and tea rooms where you can enjoy churros, cream cabbage and other madeleines…

Fontarrabie, Hondarribia in Basque, is a small fishing village close to campsite Hendaye, which will take you back in time. From the old quarter with its brightly coloured traditional houses and flowered balconies, to the fortified Aldus Zahara with its narrow streets and historic buildings, Fontarrabie invites you to take a picturesque stroll. A breathtaking view of the entire bay awaits you from the top of the Jaizkibel. To get there, you can take the boat from the marina of Hendaye and enjoy a quarter of an hour of crossing.

30 km from the border, San Sebastian, Donostia in Basque. It is the bathing resort the most chic in Spain. It offers an exceptional panoramic view from its La Concha beach.
